2/9/06 MESSAGE TO INTERESTED PARTIES
The South Carolina Senate Judiciary Committee met on Tuesday, February 7, 2006. The Committee considered the subcommittee recommended amendments to S. 1028, which is a bill that would implement the provisions of S. 960, the constitutional amendment concerned with reassessment methods. The Committee reported out favorably with a strike-all amendment to S. 1028. S. 1028 and S. 960 have both been set for special order on the Senate Calendar. S. 960 may need to be amended from the floor to mirror any changes that may be adopted in S. 1028.
